It's being carried by a prince you meet in one of the lower levels of the temple.

All you need to do is get the prince killed and the sword is yours.

do what i did
and just kill the fugger...
everyone but my sorc was chaotic evil, first time i found him, he actually joined up with me.
I reloaded from the autosave on zoning over, and just beat his ass.
Was the first time i thought someone might die, he had an AoO that hit every time i did melee damage, and he hit everyone within range every round.
My cleric was freakin busy.
