Duo HOF Druid and Bard

Just tryed this.

Duoing is easyer of 6 party member cause you encounter less enemy.
Both class learn spell only levelling so you save money to buy scroll, time when ou releoad if you dont memorize a spell (!!) and NO NEED to be in the hand to get high level spell!!

Druid is the best summoner of ALL.
The only who can get 4 summoned creature with one spell (elemental legion) and sometimes chance to summon 2-4 creatures with one only spell.
Then he is the only who can summon elder elemental Quite powerful).
Only drowback is that he CAN'T cast protection from evil needed with elemental (so you need one other caster) and from level VI summon spell you have no idea if you will get elemental or some bear (causing sometimes fight between them)!!!
He can also shapechange but found only good for healing that 12 hp and running faster...the bear and the elemental have quite strong attack but in HOF is better not to engage melee cause you take too much damage. But shapechanging is invaluable to kill barrel (spoiler here eh eh).

Bard is terrible. She needs 2 big stats (int and charisma), bad fighter in melee and ranged and medium/low caster.
Only advantage is that you can use some rogue skill without multiclassing (of couse you will need a lot of point to put in many skill so you need big intl).

Both classes are NO FAVOURITE from any race except human so you have a lot of restriction if you want duo.

Started from 0 so my first goblin was really difficult (161 hp!!!) but shengarine was easier and now i will go for goblin.
That area was a nightmere so really curious if i have any chance.

Hmmm??
Bard isn't useless!!!
You can level up him to 14 th level and then change to barbarian( if chaotic) and then hi is very good in combat and knows few spells ( I use him to cast cure spells, protection from evil, invisibility, summon greater shadows etc.) - so he is quite usefull.
Half-elf race has favored class like humans- ANY so it is good choice to doubleclass Bard/Barbarian.

maybe good in a party with more than 2 member.
Melee fight in HOF will die quickly.
The bard need to be good at INT (to have skill point and bonus tho thief skill) and CHAR (to cast). And good DEX (AC and ranged weapons) and COS. So he needs way too much stats point than any other class being good at most but never the max.
Then he access level 9 spell very late and between them are some of the most useful (bashee) and have only some of them while a sorcer can have about the double.
As race i choose drow because of bonus in INT CHAR anc DEX and the resistence to spell.
Of course he is bad fighter suffering even more otside but quite good caster and thief.

What high level spell is better in HoF than summon creature???
My bard have 14 STR, 10 DEX, 14 CON, 10 INT, 18 CHA and I think it is enough to dual for barbarian( only for more HP and attack bonuses). For spells conjure greater shadows or invisible stalker is enaugh for most opponents.
Drow is might race but have XP penalty( act like +2 level character) so it is hard to get very high level drow.

Best spell for Bard is level 9 Wail of the banshee (maybe with +2 feat in necromancy and +2 spell penetration). The only spell who can kill a LOT of creature of every level (half dragon etc). Unfortunatly you can get it only on level 26 (as said b4 bard is not the best caster).
As for being difficult to get level 26 (need 28 with drow) you are irght but the resistence to spell is unvaluable.
the only chance to get level 30 is not to level each time you can (xp point earned decrease too much and fight are the difficult the same).
And enjoy places with enemy respawning like the wood where those undead provide enough xp...of course you will fight the same maybe dozen times.
So i choose to level from 22 to 26 only once. At 26 bard gets level 8 spell and druid get some interesting feature too (the previous neded was the elemental legion).

Wail of the banshee is very good when play without HoF mode because in HoF mode monsters gains many HP( goblins with more than 150 ;-))
AC is increased, attack bonus is greater, save throws are better so there is a little chance to kill large numbers of opponents with wail of banshee in HoF mode!!!!
I will tell you only that few creatures was not resisted to my monk stuning fist( WIS 20, level 22).
even goblins resisted that special attack ( DC 26 ????)

Are you sure about Wail of the Banshee not being useful in HoF? I found it pretty durn useful in HoF until I got tired of it upon entering Dragon's Eye. Especially with an aasimar sorc with 30 charisma choosing the feats GSF Necromancy and GSP (DC was enough for even duergar fighters to fail against).
