Stuck

Within the Earth temple altar room, there is a room that is magially sealed allowing no entry. unfortunately two of my characters havemanaged to get through an otherwise inpregnable room, and now I am incapable of getting them out. Is there some trick to it or do I need to go back to a saved game pryor to the unfortunate circumstance. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
