Earth temple hemp

Ok, i've found the main dude in the heart temple. I can kill him, or do missions for him.
The problem is that i got 2 paladins, 1 already fallen.....should i make the other fall by doing missions for the head cleric dude, or just kill him and make a pile with his guts while signing "new york new york" ??
