I have been freeing any slaves i come acroos is that good or bad

Freeing slaves is good of course. If you freed a certain amount of slaves, i believe it's 75, you'll be approached by someone who tells you about "the Twin Lamps", but that's still a long road too travel, and i don't wanna spoil you too much.

not 75, rather somewhere between 20 and 30. In addition with a slight larger number and knowing abot Twin Lamps you may turn to Rare Books owner, speak about Twin Lamps and get a few good books (although if you had used to wander around as i did you'd have probably red them altogether; they aren't ones of cheapest, though)

And in adition to that, if you have the proper plugin, you can do quests for the Twin Lamps, which is even better.

that number sounds better i like to wander around as much as i can to explore but i dont know about plug ins and all that stuff just an old game player i have never played a game that has so many options before.i am used to playing might and magic etc pretty staight forward.
not knowing about computors i am finding this one a bit hard but i will keep playing as long as i can.

That would be the Brother Juniper´s Twin Lamps mod. Highly recommended and fun.
