I cannot figure out what to do at the excavation sight in order to activate the pillars (minus the one giveaway).
Anybody?

It's one of those annoying order puzzles. The kind that as soon as you screw up, they all reset. Bleh.
I can't remember the exact order, but I figured it out through trial and error. Sorry I can't be more help.

It's really easy. Just drop a little something at each button then check the orb thingie. When you look through the orb doohickie, you'll see a button
and whatever item you dropped there.

The easiest way ... to follow up on Garret .... is to drop something that looks differnet in the rooms.
Torch
Shield
Weapon
etc.
Then you can quickly see wich pillar you need to press next.
After what I've read, the floor pattern should be slightly different, but I found the "dropping of items" to be the best way also.

I have just bought the game sou and I'finished the game NwN some time ago. i started the game and begun to play with my lvl 17 rouge. After a while I discovered that i only got 6 exp for each monster I killed and it made no diffrence between the diffrent creatures exept for the dragon, witch I got 47 exp for. I got even more confused when I cot into the desert and got attackt by the scorpions and ofcourse i only got 6 exp for thees to.
Is something wrong or is the expansion totaly alkfdjlakdj.
And if somethings wrong what shall I do ??

Well - firstly - please try to stay on topic, and make a new thread for new questions
Secondly - the amount of exp. you get is dependand on your challenge rating - wich is a combination of your level, class and party. So as level 17 you have a high rating, and thus will get little exp when figthing monsters that have a lower rating.
So it is the rules that are this way - and not the game per se.
