I wanted to know if you could do the quests that the shadow thief gives you about uncovering ma'evars(waz his face) treachery at the same time as the Bodhi string.

As in the quest given to you by the shadow thief leader at the guild hall thing in the docks. I had always gotten that quest at the same time as I got the assignment to wait for Moot on the docks at night. Maybe you can get the treachery quest before you get into chapter 3?

You can do the treachery quest as soon as you escape Irenicus' prison. Just head to see Renal after you talk to Gaelan Bayle.

I did just did that and I got Edwin before having to turn on the Shadow thieves and side with the bodhi woman.
