Using Maximise & Empower Spells

How do we choose a spell to maximise???

What you do is that you click on the blue circle on the lefthand side of the spell. As soon as you do that, you can choose to either Maximize of Empower it. This, though, will make a maximized copy of the spell (which is 3 levels above its casting level, IIRC), or empowered (which is 2 levels above). Hope this helps.
