Another question for you guys. If I want to play straight up through as a Light Side Jedi, would I bother with the Geondoharian? Does all there missions give you dark side points?

Yes, pretty much so. Of course, you'll have light points to spare if you want to take his quests on--but that's really not roleplaying, is it?
Unless your character rationalizes acting as an assassin as a matter of "the ends justifying the means."

Well, I was thinking the same thing...I'm playing through on the Light side, but there are a lot of credit opportunities I have to forego as a result (that extra Krayt dragon pearl, etc).
I played through the game as good as I could, but took the high-credit opportunities (kill Bendak, bully the Twilek to get the droid for free, etc) even though I got dark-side points. Then when I got to Dantooine, I took advantage of the Sandral Estate light-side glitch to erase all of my badness, and now I'm full-on light side.
This time around it's too late, but here's my idea...
...what about saving the Matale-Sandral quest (and glitch) for later?...
...If I assume correctly, you can complete the Jedi Trials without resloving that dispute. So run around the galaxy, be a baddie and get the good stuff, then run back to Dantooine and use the glitch to light-side it up. (Keep in mind, this is my first time through, and I'm still on the first explored planet, so I don't know if you can leave Dantooine without resolving the Matale-Sandral feud and return to finish it later, or if Dantooine ever gets vaporized by the Sith).

Why are you so concerned for maximizing experience? There's plenty enough in the game. Why not sit back, and enjoy rpging the dark and light side?

What is the Matale-Sandral glitch? I'll have to save that for the next time around, as in this game by this point it's, how shall I say, no longer an option.
Thanks!

Of course the Dark Side gives more credits than the Light Side, that's the whole point of it. But if you win races you should have more than enough money anyways.

I never really used my money during the 20 hours of game time i had... there was never anything really worth it in merchant's inventory... the only time i spent a good deal of money was for HK-47. Else then that, and the ocasionnal generous monetary gifts to boost my light side

You clearly haven't been to the Yavin Station.
There are some -really- nice things there for sale at, oh, 25,000 credits each? Of course you can -earn- close to 50 - 75k WHILE there... or something... still, it doesn't last long if you get too crazy with the shopping there.

Note, Yavin Station is at this time only in the PC version. Xbox is due out around the holidays--I think.
