Does the CLUA "cheat"/alteration like it is written for BG2, work for BG1? I know how to put it in, but are the instructions the same.

Not sure what you mean by "working like the potions". Also the BG1 items are Tinkertoys compared to what you get in BG2. Only a small handful of items are worth taking into BG2 (Bala's Axe comes to mind). But, yes, these codes will work in BG2. If you have ToTSC you get some better items but again only a handful are worth much in BG2 (a couple of ToTSC items are not fully supported by BG2), but if you really want to play around with this stuff I recommend you download Gate Keeper and Shadow Keeper. With those two tools you can investigate all the items in both games and even edit them into a saved game (takes the place of CLUA Console).

What I meant was that I can CLUA potions to SoA. I never found anything that had the potions codes.

OK. Now I'm looking for the BG1 equivalent for the "Baldur.ini" file (its icon should look like "notepad"). I don't see anything on there.

I agree with Stilgar.

If your going to cheat use the keeper program (being superpowerful gets boring after about 30 seconds)

I only use the keeper program to create my "proper" D&D charcters into the game.

And I've told you the story of how I "remade" my character after the "Charm Bug"
