I just finished Neverwinter Nights. The reason I played it in the first place was Pool of Radiance. Although I loved Neverwinter Nights, I enjoyed Pool of Radiance much more, although I am not sure why? What do the rest of you think?

Never played Pool of Radiance. Keep in mind that NWN was designed primarily for multiplayer. The single player experience is indeed a bit lacking.

If you enjoyed Pool or Radiance I would recommend Greyhawk:Temple of Elemental Evil.

Also if you have not played it yet you really should try Baldurs Gate II - many including myself consider this to be the best single player Fantasy RPG ever. ;)

How can you recommend if never played?

BG2 was definatly better then BG1, no question.

As for recommending Temple of Elemental Evil if he's played PoR, he wasn't offering a pro or con, he was merely stating that since beefjohnson enjoyed the 3rd ed. rule set used in PoR, and the isometric view combined with the single player geared story, then it would only make sense that Temple of Elemental Evil would likely provide some interest, as it is much along the same lines in terms of rule set, game play, and story purpose.

I looked at some screenshots of Greyhawk: Temple of Elemental Evil and it looks like a great game. I wish I knew if it were turn-based or not. I don't know, but I believe Baulder's is, is it not?

Sorry. I mean I believe it is not, is it? Also, I have never played any of the Diablo series of games. Are they any good?

TOEE is a very good game once you download the patch. No multiplayer though. Very similar to POR I felt, ie large dungeon crawl only not as tiresome.

LH could have been a lot better.

Diablo II I found vey addictive.

Bioware infinity engine games (BG etc) usually very good.

Check out the official sites if you're unsure what to play.
