@Lucian...Cool ,I just hope this isn't the hidden one everyone's talking about. Did you check out the beholder pictures...Death Tyrant.

"high-level characters will get skills tailored to their class -- for instance, Whirlwind Attack for the fighters."

"Dragon's Breath conjures up the head of a Red Dragon and rolls out 20d10 worth of damage."

OK, two questions:

1) How reliable is this information?
2) Anyone knows the class and stats for old brother (so I know if I should start working on a new party)?

I believe they are going to change the name of the spell to "Chewbacca's Moon Drop" Image Image

The information given is very short. BioWare hasn't released anything about the new NPC yet, so how would Dailyradar know? It could be right, but I don't really care. We'll all see eventually.

Sarevok as new NPC ? I don't belive it. There are enough fighters in game.

I assume that they will add some different NPC - e.g. there are not enough thieves in game (yoshimo killed in the middle of the game, Nalia - mage with some thief ablilities, Imoen & Jan Jansen - second league thieves).

Well, he said that they were given a preview. May be BS but who knows. If it is true I will buy the game. If it is not true I will buy the game.

The BG series has been excellent so far and I am sure that since ToB is the "Swan SOng" it will be good.

Still wish we could have 8 people in a party though Image

Hmm...

--> last screenshot, click on it
--> new NPC's portrait

Now take a look at GameBanshee's BG1 section. In the top right corner you'll see Sarevok. He has the same yellowish eyes, doesn't he?

thank you Manveru, i've been making the same point in a couple of topics on this board. if it is Sarevok he's probably a fighter or a F/M. there's plenty of quality npc tanks and mages, how about a quality thief?
storywise Sarevok as the new npc could be cool. how will he interact w/ a good party? should make for some interesting role playing. still, i would have prefered Saemon as a swashbuckler.

it very well could be sarevok, bio said he was an old 'friend' and that you will meet the new npc in the abyssal fortress

If it really is Sarevok, I hope they make him an anti-paladin, instead of just a fighter.

Sarevok AGAIN.
The dead should stay dead, he will NOT join my party.
Also another fighter (that is what he his)? and another EVIL FIGHTER ?, he already have Korgan in that role.
I hope that is incorrect.

It looks like it is Sarevok indeed. Check out http://www.zdnet.com/gamespot/stories/news/0,10870,2702916,00.html

COOOOOL!!
WHOA MOMMA!

I don't care if I'm playing good-aligned, this dude is one of my party members! Bye bye Valygar!
Oh damn, that would mean "bye bye Celestial Fury"... This will be harder than I thought.

Hmm... Not Keldorn, Carsomyr is waaaaay to good. Minsc? He's so kewl. Can't dump Imoen, she's my only thief and mage. And Mazzy rules with the Gesen Bow! DANG!!
I'd ditch myself if I wasn't so good. Ah I'll figure it out!

Wow! sarevok! Cool.
If he is anything like wraith Sarevok he is in my party. That guy was tough.

I wonder how those cloaked figures at the end of that game (in the movie) will come into play. "Gorion's ward has become too powerful" Does that mean that the PC can walk all over the other Bhaalspawns? Why aren't those guys worried about the other children of Bhaal?

Wasn't that guys from the Cyric sect in the end movie?

I think so, for the following reasons:

- That skull is the sign of Cyric, somehow.
- Cyric is the one that killed Bhaal and took his place. If a Child of Bhaal wreaks enough havoc / kills enough innocent people etc... they can become the new Lord of Murder. I got this straight from BG1. Since the followers of Cyric are afraid that someone might replace their god, they want them all dead.
