Hi all,

Does anyone know if there is a way to turn off some or all of the background animation on the screen? I don't have a whiz-bang video card and things like the water wheel in town, rippling water, leaves on the trees, candles and campfires, etc. just bog down the whole game for me.

Is there any way to turn off these little background animations?

You'll hate the Fire Temple, then.

I DO have a wiz bang Video Card and the Watermill and Fire temple bog me down too.

The fire temple was a pain. It was the most frustrating battle because of all the memory taken up with effects.

I'm just glad I'm through it.
