What Have I done? - Possible Spoiler

Post by davfra »

I pressed the sleep button and when we all woke up I turned into a monster and killed 3 of my party.
What`s happening? Is this the end of the game for me?

Cheers

If you're in Spellhold in Chpt. 4, your character's turning into the Slayer, and doesn't have control yet. After you fight a certain BIG battle involving Irenicus vs. your party and the assylum inmates, you'll gain control over the slayer form and be able to rest again. From the sound of it, you need to go through some puzzles to get back to the Assylum part of Spellhold. Don't forget to get alot of the treasures that you want before you continue, since there's no going back!
Dungeon Crawl Inc.: It's the most fun you can have without 3 midgets and a whip! Character stats made by your's truly!

That's supposed to happen.
The best way to deal with it is to separate your character form the rest of the party with a closed door when you want to sleep, since the slayer isn't smart enough to open doors :D

I`m on level 2 in the asylum and I have done all the puzzles (I think). I`ll try the suggestion about sleeping behind closed doors.

The room with the pool with and three statues works nicely for this purpose. I usually wait until I get back up to Jon's lab and sleep in the little storage room to the East (right before the Exit).

Hmm...strange ive never had this problem.
Slice, cop, swirl, decaputate and mingulate, it's all in a days work.

It is not the absence of fear that makes a warrior, but its domination.

Here, kitty kitty. Here kitty kitty....Aaaaugh!!

If u dont hit your adversaries while they're down, they might get up again.

Neither have I because Bhodi says she will give you a short time before she comes after you so I have never rested in the Asylum. I know it doesn't really matter but for roleplaying purposes I don't rest in the Asylum or in Jon's dungeon.
