Temple Treasury Eggs

I have two lots of fake eggs and I have to get another one from the city treasury in the temple. I have a key and I just can`t get the door open. I`ve tried getting my character with the key close up to the door, but nothing. I`ve tried `knock` and thieving but I still can`t get that door open.
Any help please?
