About crafting magic stuf***e

the delima is as follows: i have a 9th level mage who does my craft magic arms and armours, but all i can do is add spell resitance and up to +3 on the armours, and add cold and +3 on the weapons, what is required to add more, and what is the most powerfull combination, and can i add, fire and cold damage...as ironic as that may bee?

Armours: AFAIK thats about it. Also, beware that lots of people (including me) have found that SR doesnt work.
Weapons: You need a similar spell like Fireball for Fire etc. Yes you can add all the enchantments. I have a +1 Flame, Ice, Shock sword. You need a Cleric to add Holy damage.

ok, so i have ice storm, hence the reason i can add cold damage, so for elec. i need...lightening bolt i take it, but i have fireball...i have it filling every single one of my level 3 spell spots, its like my fav spell...and i cant add fire why is that?

You need level 10 for fire and keen and some others. Read around, there are a million posts with the same questions and mostly the same answers.

Stuff:
1. spell resistance is lost on armors - it doesn't actually work in the game (at least for a lot of folks) - after you craft it and equip it, hover your mouse over the character and you will see "spell resistance (0)" in the info box
2. for fire you need burning hands, for cold you need chill touch, and for shock you need shocking grasp
3. for icy burst you need ice storm, for shocking burst you need lightning bolt, for flaming burst you need fire ball, BUT...
4. you need to be 12th level to enchant an item with flaming burst (impossible in this game unless you're willing to cheat - I posted here and on Atari forums with the way to go about it - do a search for flaming burst and it'll come up)
