hi guys is KotOR any good compared to morrowind. i'm thinking of buying it but if itsn't as good maybe i should wait till it drops <£20

any help is greatly appreciated

The two games aren't really very similiar at all, so I'm not sure what kind of comparison you were hoping for. It's an apples and oranges thing.

I enjoyed KOTOR, myself, but that may have been as much a response to seeing Star Wars done well after having suffered through the disgrace which is Star Wars Galaxies for a few months before writing it off as completely hopeless.

basically what i was looking for was if the open ededness in morrowind is available in kotor and also the character building aspect of the morrowind.

can you make you own unique way to the end of the game or will the game drag you into doing what it wants.

Being a Bioware game its open-endedness is comparable to other games produced by Bioware, such as BG2. In other words there is a main quest to follow, but there are also many many sidequests, but it's a more restrictive game then Morrowind in terms of where you can and cannot go.

its definitely different than past star wars games and is worth buying. It did remind me a little of morrowind, but the fantastic graphics and ability to command other characters is great. i payed 50 for it, but would suggest finding a better price

Think BG2, but slightly lower age bracket, and done up in 3D.

It's better than Morrowind. The world is obviously not as open as Morrowind, but there aren't any bugs. I have the Xbox version and the loading is pretty quick as well. And then there's the fact that you actually have choices and conversational paths, as opposed to Morrowind where they give you the notion the entire game that you can join Dagoth Ur, and then it's broken and nothing happens.

Plus the storyline makes the game better than both Episodes I and II combined.
