I played this on the PC, and I enjoyed it alot, its very simalar to Jedi: Outcast (same game engine) I was going to play the game twice after I compleated it, but I just couldn't not sure why I just wasn't hooked, but the first time I was playing it all the time, great game bad replay value

I played the single player demo. Definatly well done, and improved on what Outcast lacked. Something I'd consider picking up for LAN play.

I greatly enjoyed Jedi Outcast, but IMO Jedi Academy is horrible! I dont know exactly what it is, I just cant stand it!! The storyline is horrible, for one and some of the NPC's are annoying as heck. You money would be better spent on the GTA pack that recently was released for Xbox.

If you're just looking for great swinging lightsabre fun, this game is alright, except you can't skip the crappy cutscenes! The cutscene voice acting is garbage, and the script is crap too... AND YOU CAN'T SKIP IT. This might get fixed in a patch, but I dunno.
Also some missions were stupid, like the speeder ones. They were a nice change, but I just want to swing lightsabres around, not race.
Otherwise I'd say this game would be worth 1/2 as much as its sold for. If you can find it for $40 or less, then get it if you loved JK:Outcast. Otherwise, I'd get it if you feel like buying it. Try the demo if you're really not so sure.
PS: Pretty much every PC game is on Xbox now, since they're easy to port and most will run on an xobox. It's just marketing from the publishers, since suckers actually pay around $100 for some poor game (aka. Deus Ex 2)
