Sorry if these questions are repetative or redundant. But i was hoping someone could answer them for me.

1. When i summon a familiar or creature, does it gain XP when our party defeats something?
2. What is the point of gems like Flourspar and Alexandrite?
3. What is the point of ale?

I know i sound like a total newb but i hope someone can just answer these TY =]

1. Your familiar levels with you automatically, I think you have to choose the new one every level (I think)

2. Most of the gems are just sell items, xpt for diamond and such, used in armor improvement in certain places, I don't remember which ones unfortunately, but you should be able to find out in the game.

3. The point of Ale is to get drunk, that's it, which won't do you any good in the game. Examine it, and see the effects of it.
