some NPC interactions that involve casting spells,like the one wich Aerie casts a healing spell on herself,only happen when you have AI button on?

also what I need to change in Shadowkeeper to have Edwina back to his man form?

The AI button only affects your party members during combat. If it's a scripted event, then the AI doesn't have to be on or off.

-EDIT-

In addition, for AI to take affect, you need to have the character with a script in use. Yo ucan do this through the customize option in the stat screen.

If you give it some time (and 2 enounters with a certain NPC), Edwin will be returned to his normal gender, and the quest will be over. Hope this helps.

I know it's just because i hate to sleep and it take about 20 days to him to go back to male form.I always finish the game in 19-20 days so it's not time enough to Edwin to shapechange back.
