Magic Mace?

Hello,
In the Earth Temple room that has four treasure chests, one of the chests has a pair of morningstars. One of those morningstars is highlighted with the blue "magic" auro on my screen. Is this bug? I cannot detect any magic on it, and Identifying it and using Dispell Magic before I.D. do nothing. It seems to be completely ordinary. Is this a bug for my game, or has anyone else seen that? Are there cursed items in this game?
