Upgrading swoopracer and racing

I'm currently on Tatooine, and someone in the Swoopregistration said i could upgrade my racer.
Where can i do this?

From what I understand, this was a feature that was to be included, but didn't make it in, on time. If I'm wrong, someone please kindly remove my head from my rear, and well forget about it happening :D

Ok, another question
HOW THE HECK DO I WIN!!!!!
I thought it was because I haden't upgraded but that cant be the case.

I ahve to beat 23:something.
And on a almost perfect run (no bumps almost every pad) i score 25:90

PS. I get a lag at the beginning of the race, and halfway it reacts normal. Could this be the cause, and if so what can i do about it. I tried switching grafix to the lowest

It's not possible to make a run where you hit all boosters whit out getting a perfect time, and a tip, try going as straight as possible (you have to hit some boosters but not all).

On the official LucasArts KOTOR website, I believe, is a Guide to Better Swoopracing. It'll show you the optimal route for swoop victory.

As for doing it normally, pick a side of the track, shift just as it redlines, travel a smooth line, and avoid the scattered pads ... the ones on the very edges, far from your line, are liable to hurt you more than they'd ever help you.

This thread contains a lot of people's frustrations and success stories swoopracing in KotOR. It has some strategies that may help.

I personally have given up ~~ even though I beat Tatooine once (after a few hours of frustration), I think I'll just give myself the credits next time through the game.

Are the alleged swoopracer upgrades that never made it in supposed to have helped give you an edge? And now that they are not here you are stuck trying to do it without that "edge"?

Good luck ;)

Could the difficulty / time to beat have something to do with the time you set on Taris in the first swooprace?

its easy once you ve done it

Listen up !!!

firstly you have to hit the a button at the appropriate time for

tatooine hit a button on the first pad, third pad, just before 7th pad and just after the 11 th i follow a straight line through the centre, next you want to avoid some pads that slow you down these include the one directly in front of the 11th and the one after the 15 th hit 16 17, 18, 19 20, miss a pad hit 22, miss one hit 23 and then 24 if done correcly you should get anywhere from 21:40 - 22:40 but go directly in a line. the times to beat are 23:90 1st tier, 23:29 2nd tier and 22:50 all the times are the same pretty much except for about 3 seconds

for manann unless you give money to queedle for an up grade it will be the same as above if you want double light side points
give him 500 credits, tell him to up grade and then beat the new times 23:25 1st tier, 22:50 2nd tier and 22:48 third tier he will then thankyou and give back your money when you beat queedles time.

the stratergy for the manan track is to make a line down the centre and press a directly after the first pad, after the third pad
inbetween 6 and 7 th pad finally after the 12th, the pads to miss are directly after 12, then hit 13 14 15 miss one hit 16 miss one hit 17 miss one hit 18, 19, 20 miss one hit 21 miss two and hit the last one again if you follow this stratergy you will get a fast time.
