Is there a forge anywhere?

And I don't mean the forge in the Zhinda citadel either. That whole thing was useless just to get a masterwork battle axe. After browsing through the weapons lists on this site, it seems that there are some improved versions of some the weapons. I.e. Cera Sumat, Dychast blade, Delnar's healing blade, and probably some more. I'm in the severed hand now and close to the end. Is there a place to upgrade these weapons or are the improved versions just random?

The improved versions of all equipment are actually in Heart of Fury Mode. You're not far from being ready from that, trust me.
If you need help accessing HoF mode, there is a recent thread about it that may give some pointers, aptly titled "HOF mode", IIRC.
