After some thought on this issue, I've decided to dig out my Baldur's Gate cds and i'm going to play the whole series for the third time. Its been almost 2 years. Time to find those Rage Against the Machine cds (i listened to them while playing). Wish me luck

Good luck!
What character are you planning to play.

Good luck, but try some symphonies by Glazunov, or maybe Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherazade.

Like Stilgar, I'm curious what profession you'll play--and what mods you're loading.

What about Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries" for one or two big battles? (Did I get the name right?)
Good luck Thorin.

Yes, the name is right. But it's such a short piece, and only good for battles. You can run Glazunov or Rimsky-Korsakov behind the scenes, and feel like you're drenched in a huge adventure epic all the time.

Hmmm... that description sounds somewhat familiar.
Funny, I actually do find myself listening to quite a few tracks off the Baldur's Gate soundtrack CD (which came with the "Original Saga" package that I bought). At one point, I was actually listening to some of the battle tracks while reading battle scenes in one or two books! Pretty wierd, huh?
