I can`t kill Irenicus in Hell. I can kill all his helpers and then there`s just me and my gang (hiding on the stairs) against him and he whips me every time.
My character is great at backstabbing but this doesn`t work. I`ve even tried turning into the slayer.
I have every aid I can find for my team, but after being badly wounded, suddenly he`s un-injured.
How do I kill him off?
Please help me to have a happy xmas!

Dont forget about debuffs to him, let rip with some spells that lower his resistances / stats and cripple him, things like Greator Malsion, pierce shield, pierce magic (crappy but could work), lower resistance ect.

First id reccomend dispell magic then breach, then piece shield, then throw a lower resistance, then a greater malsion or two followed by extra lower resistances if you need, then throw in spells like contaigen and feeble mind. If you can survive whilst casting all this he'll be mincemeat for spells, then just keep healing your guys and buffign them up, shouldnt be too hard.

Also note, mustard jelly form from the cloak of the sewers has 100% magic resistance, so thats allways usefull against spellchuckers.

I had similiar trouble with Melissan but she was REALLY immortal. I think, this was bug in mod... I was tired of being defeated lots of times and I tried CTRL+Y combination (does 1149 damages)... and it didn't work! She's taken about 10000 damage and survived... so this might be heavier problem than it looks like.

It's easy. Once you have killed all his demons, summon a creature (forgot its name) that absorbs all the spells. After he wastes all his spells on it, you can do your stuff.

You can try to run to one of Bhaal Tear's room. I didn't try this but it'll probably work and you will be able to rest. But i DIDN'T try this.

I had tried most of those without any success. What I was doing wrong was in turning my guy into the slayer. When I took the normal route plus using lots of summoned monsters it was so easy I couldn`t believe it.
I had gone for a complicated method when simplicity did the trick easily.

Hey Coconut Crab...i think that monster was called a Hakeashar. I remember because i read the book Shadowdale. Its excellent in Forgotten Realms series, and because i summoned one in trying to beat Kangaxx(which i havent btw....if someone could maybe give me help or tell me its useless). Also does anyone know what stats the ring of Gaxx or Gaax however it is spelled has? Id like to know so that i can decide if its worth trying a bunch more times and getting killed. (my problem was the spell immunity running out right when he was near death, and subsequently getting imprisoned) thanks awhole bunch if yuou guys can help.

Ring of Gaxx is the most powerful ring in the game (for no mage characters, they should have spell enchancing rings). It gives +2 to AC and dice throws, +10% MR, allow you to cast Improved Haste 3 times a day and Improved Invisibility once a day...ufff... it probably gives you immunity to disease (I don't remember). It's just THE BEST.

One Immunity is mot enough but you can cast second one when first is still working... Kangaxx Demilch form is able to kill only with +5 enchanted weapons such as Carsomyr. You can also use Melf's Meteors.

Thanks, for the great start and tactics. I will try to recruit Keldorn again because of his family problems....Umm basicalyl i couldnt find another spell immunity. I only found one and i tink im a level eleven mage. Her spells dont go up to level six and its frustrating. Is this normal?

Hey thanks for the help. Wow this is really funny, and i feel stupid but i suppose thats what trying is about. I got rid of the gnome and decided to go try to recruit Keldorn. WEll, on a whim as i was leaving the docks district i decided to check my spells on Aerie. Turns out, she is able to cast spell immunity. For some reason i thought it was a huge level spell but apparently its not. I should have no problem beating Kangaxx now. Thanks all!!! For your time and support. wow i about fell over laughing so hard.

By the way....im having some trouble finishing Demilich dude. He keeps running away and recharging his health. Where can i get carsomyr? I dont understand really because i thought Keldorn had it but he has Hallowed Redeemer. THat IS my only problem with beating this dude. I feel so dumb but maybe somebody can help. Ive tried a whole lot to beat this dude. He;s really pissing me off. Help?

the ring of gaxx regenerates your health...

melf minute meteors, + improved haste with aerie will kill it..

flametongue(?) the long sword in the druid grove will hit demiliches...they are immune to any weapon less than +4...the long sword is +1, but +4 against undead. this is why hallowed redeemer can't hit him...

Need +4 (or better) weapons to hit him, see loads of details elsewhere...
