It's that time of year again.
When we make promises to ourselves for the new year.

For me, it's:

1) Lose 20 pounds
2) Make my regency fashion doll that i've been trying to make for the past two years.
3) Be a great mommy.
4) Finish my robotech and gundum wing dvd collection.
5) Figure out a way to go back to school.
6)To come back to GB Forums on a regular basis :p

I pray that the new year will bring love and happiness and adventure to all those here at GameBanshee.

Bah, I don't bother making new year's resolutions, because I never bother actually keeping to them. :o :D You know, things like get more exercise, lose weight, pay back debts... Mind you, it is the first time I have actually had a decent paying job, so I might be able to do the latter this year. Then again, I might just blow all my wages on sex, drugs and rock'n'roll. :D

My only real ambition for the year is to be happy with myself. ;)

I hope everyone has a fabulous 2004. :)

Im going to paraphrase the comedian Louis Black: "I think New Years resolutions are stupid because its setting yourself up for failure" Thats what I think so as far as im concerned, screw New Years resolutions. The only thing Im looking foward to on New Years Eve is that kiss at midnight ;)

Be more sure and confident with my decisions. It's not a far-fetched goal, so it can be maintainable, with time. Many goals require time, and time they shall recieve. I may be young, at 20, but deep inside, I grow all the older, and all the more mature and wise with each passing day.

Some say I worry too much of what may come, of making the right decisions to see myself through the workload. In some ways, they are correct, I may overconcern myself about decisions. I try to show maturity and self-sufficiency. Still, that may take time. I don't care if I live with my parents for at least 10 more years. I've helped my parents much with chores and projects, and stayed with them through thick and thin. Eventually, I will take the charge, taking my life by the reins.

Maintain a healty lifestyle, in which shows a trend of losing weight (Lost 20 pounds since August, plus have toned up incredably!), and try to gain acceptance to both University of Western Ontario to play football for them, but also begin my study of politics in hopes to become a member of the Liberal Cabinet at sometime!

Should you actually succeed at this one, you'll probably be able to sell the book for billions. :D

And there's nothing wrong in naming your computer. Well, depending on the name really.

I'd only name mine if I found it was a robot in disguise (somebody should know what I'm hinting at).

Ooooh, I shouldn't do that if I were you. Just when you think you've got it sussed, something will happen to make you completely re-evaluate. That's half the fun of being a woman :D

@Scayde I like the way you aim low, at least that way you won't disappoint yourself. :D Mind you, it does kind of defeat the purpose of a resolution to just make it something you're going to do anyway... :p

Disappointment doesn't scare me, I'm used to it, :D
But this way I get to enjoy a few successes along the way :p

To live everyday likes its my last, and I'm currently doing that too.

Ok, now that I have a valid reason to post where is everyone. You move to a time zone much closer to the majority of the SYMers and no one is online... :( :p

New Year's Resolutions:

Learn to smash car windshields with psychic ray

Cancel construction of doomsday machine

Make pigeons that live in window across the street dance like puppet skeletons again

Interrogate neighborhood cats. Why do they laugh at me?

Surround my warehouse I live in with sacred horseradish to protect against shapeshifters

Determine: Where is that hum coming from?

Lurk a little less
