Has anyone else been fortunate to actually see the NPC Jedi act like movie Jedi (such as Ben Kenobi) and pull off Force Persuasion?

I was fortunate enough to travel around Kashyyyk with Big Z and Bastila ... which is my normal party when I first land on "Edean." This time I decided to play it to the hilt and tell the Czerka Corporation rep the dialog choices that more or less said "Why shouldn't I just turn you lightsaber filet?" After the Ithorian rep starts getting muley, Bastila waves her hand and Force Persuades him to tell us about the slaving operations.

It was nice to finally see the Jedi acting Jedi-like and using Force Persuasion (which, like Throw Lightsaber, is a FP for every NPC Jedi).

I had the same thing in the same place exept it was Juhani that used the force,

Hmm, I actually never had that, and didn't think it was possible...I thought only a player char can use the force persuade...I'll have to double check on that one...

Now, that's cute. I never had a party NPC actually take any "separately willed" action within my games, save Bastila's complaints when I used Force Persuade, myself. Glad to hear Bioware hasn't completely abandoned something they tried a bit of, in BG2.

at taris Bastila also uses force persuasion, if you try to nagate DIAs huntermoney and talk to Huldan in the undercity cantina. If you do this and you have a low persuasion skill, you can safe the 200 credits huldan wants for negating the huntermoney.

BTW: Jolee uses normal persuasion at the Hutt at tatooine, if you tried everything to get a better contract for Nico. (At least the text doesn't sav, that he uses force persuasion.)

Jolee will also persuade Elora to tell you about Sunry's affair if you fail your own persuade check.

Edit: but you don't get the 200 odd XP if Jolee has to step in.
