Food

In SoU what is the food for? I cannot seem to use it or give it.

Don't remember haveing used it for anything in the official campagins.
(Using it for RP tool in multiplayer games though)

prayer bag
Food can be used in the prayer bag combined with another item to create creatures/protectors. You have to keep your eye out for the bags in shops and they cost a bundle. If there are other uses I'm not sure what they are.

In the 2nd chapter in SoU you can place some food as a sacrifice on an altar to have a magical effect (cannot remember exactley what it was tho).
Other than that I think it just added to plausibility that you can find food in kitchens and such.
