i am a new player of this game ,
and i have the following question about the game

1. i always killed by Lich ,i want to ask any method to kill the Lich ? their spell is very strong

2. i want to ask what is the best type of weapon for fighter?

3. what school of magic are LICHES are ?

4. what lv of difficulty you choose ? ( i play normal only ( am i weak?))

5. where i can make the weapon which have different component?
( for example : Gesen short bow)

Sunray,false dawn etc... there are a number more but I can't remember their names... one blast of SR can blast that lich to oblivion and on

depends...two handed swords are good as well as long swords and katanas.

I played on normal for 1½ year until i switched to the hardest level and now I'm back at normal again but I've modded the game to make it harder...

In the dock district there is a dwarf named cromwell.... you should go and see him... he'll know what to do

Sunray is great to use,False Dawn is good too. Also go to Crooked Crane in City Gate reigon and go into back room and steal the Daystar- I

My opinion is The Daystar,Blackrazor,Crom Freyer (Long Sword,War Hammer)

I would think Necromancer, due to their death spells they constastly cast

I do the normal setting

If you found the pieces go to the docks district and go to cromwells house- He'll forge em 4 you

Liches are tricky. I don't believe you actually NEED to kill any of them to complete SoA, so if they're just driving you crazy, you can give them a miss. Same is true of dragons (well, except that one later on)

As well as the methods already described, Liches can be killed by speed attack with an undead disrupting weapon, like Azuredge or the Mace of disruption - if you're quick, you can get them before they get their spell defenses up. Protection vs. Undead scrolls will make them unable to percieve you. Generally, the trick to killing mages is bypassing their protective spells in some way, as otherwise they will hammer you with horrible offensive magics.

Liches are immune to low level spells. (below level 5, IIRC)

There's all kinds. You can find good weapons in ANY style, so season to taste.

Liches are mostly normal mages, but high level (20+). They use all schools of magic.

Normal. I have tactics mod, spell 50, etc. installed. You don't want these the first time through, though, play the basic game on normal. Higher diffulty levels mostly just increase damage and/or HPs on monsters, so are fairly dull, really.

( for example : Gesen short bow)
The Dwarven smith Cromwell (Docks district) in Shadows of Amn, Cespenar in ToB. You'll find the pieces as you adventure, so look around carefully.
