I think that since a part of SoA and ToB will be integrated - this message board will do just fine.

I think it will be confusing and ineffective if we get 2 message boards that cover much of the same game. It would be like have a message board for BG1 + ToSC.

So I would say - only one message board for BG2+expansion

From the one side I don't think it is good idea - in short time after releasing ToB this messeage board will change into next BG2 board, because the part of ToB will be accesible in normal play (before killing Irenicus) so there will be always enough people to ask questions concerning on normal BG2 SoA as well as ToB.

But on the other hand, on this board there are so many topics that it is very hard to find needed information , so the another board may lighten the situation.

I would have to agree with Xandax.... one message board should be enough.

As for all the topics some need IMHO to be put in the other forums..SYM , RPG Diss.


Disclaimer...This just my opinion. I have no say so over where topics are posted...that is Buck and the moderators job. But I do believe this would cut down on some of the same topics being posted again and again.

I don't think we need two separate boards for the simple reason that this board is not flooded with posts exactly. I would be happy to see some more action here.

This board has been far more active in the past and will be so again when the expansion has come out. I'd like to see them left together. Someone new would have to check 2 boards if they get BG2 and ToB at the same time. Not user friendly.

i totaly agree with all,
one message board is enough and here u can get all the baldur's gate info u need it doesn't matter if its bg1,2 of ToB.
This board must stay the only and best info board for all youre Baldur's Gate questions and polls.

If there's a need for a new board at all, it should be for B&W, since I predict it will gain popularity for quite some time. ToB, however is part of SoA, and there's no need for a separate board.

Good point there should be a message board for Black And White its really cool!
