Watchers Keep, Deck of many things, lost strength

Ok, the title may not be very clear, but let me explain. I'm currently doing Watchers Keep and played against the cambion. I drew a strength card and my strength dropped to 6. After resting for many hours, my strength still hasn't returned. Now I'm wondering if it'll ever return and what should be done before it returns. I'm hoping you people can tell me. (& please don't say load a saved game, cause I overwrote the savegame
)

You have been cursed. Remove curse will as the name implies remove the effect
So hopefully your mage has this spell memorized.

Next time the makers of the game should add the curse icon... before i ask idiotic questions... grrrrrrrrrrr!!!

Well, they should have an icon for it, but I'm pretty sure the cambion says something along the lines of "Uh, oh, hope you have something that can remove curses." right after you draw the card. Clearly this was karma's way of saying you should pay attention to the dialogue.
