What are the advantages of the Paladin Stronghold? Are the two useless items (Fieldplate+2 and something else I forgot) you get for the last quest everything?

He he he "useless" fullplate+2 indeed...

But seriously enough the paladin stronghold quests are over once you get your hands on the holy avenger. There's no advantage in any stronghold as far as I know, save monetary income.

Yes, unfortunately you get just the armor and a shield i believe for the quest. The contact for the quests does tell you that you can use the small storage room behind him to store your stuff. There is a small wooden crate and a barrel I think you can use to leave your stuff in. Aside from the xp and those things there really is not much of a reward. Although +2 field plate near the beginning of the game, would prolly be very usefull, during middle and end you will find much better armor.

The Fighter and Bard gives some steady cash.
The Mage free potions and some cool stuff.
The ranger and druid a figurine of power.
the cleric nothing special.

Since you have to kill a red dragon for the Paladin Stronghold, I don't think you'll get it early in the game. Btw you'll have the dragon scale armor then.

Actually you are right, i was under the impression that just saving garren's kid would get u started on the pally quest. At any rate, I have to agree as nice as the pally plate is the red dragon scale armor ROCKS!
