Juhani the Dark Side way (spoilers)

I just completed the game, and apart from being too short and too easy, there was only really one criticism I could come up with against Bioware: Why is the only Dark Side route out of the Juhani quest on Dantooine to kill her? Did Bioware just not consider the possibility that, if you are far enough along the DS path, you might convince her to join you in your quest, trick the Jedi council into thinking that you turned her successfully, and then continue the game with her as a Dark Jedi? I think it would make the game a deal better for the player who chooses the Dark Side, especially since you don't get a proper Dark Jedi to play with through the heart of the game. Jolee just doesn't cut it with me, I'm afraid. Any thoughts?

I agree i was hoping the first time i found her that i could bring her to my evil cause like you do to Bastilia at the end.... The council is pretty easy to decieve it seems......

I managed to get Juhani without getting Light points. Also, that stowaway? You can kick her off the ship as many times as you can catch her while she's running to the exit.

I can get her too, without too much bother, but I think it'd be a really nice touch (and useful, too) if you could get two different Juhanis, one a Dark Jedi like the one you meet in the Grove, and another the normal one in the game now. Veins on face = hot

Ummm i dunno about veins im i guess if ur a cat/big vein person, then hell ya, but im not, still a dark side juhani would be cool and yes i know how to get without lightside points and aobut stowaway but i only told her to leave 1 time and i had full dark meter....

if you played through on the darkside of course the game was short. you took the easy solutions to all sidequests and probably even had to miss a few. the game was designed so that the darkside playthrough would be easier and quicker. for the basic philosophical reasons governing the two different force alignments. you know that thing about the darkside being the quick path to power. the lightside takes much longer to play.

Yes I also noticed that, 24 hours for complete darkside, well without side quests from Manaan, Kayysahh or w/e i hate the walking carpet planet, and Korriban, since i didnt need ne more darkside points. Now as i play lightside i wonder how long it will take....

So true, the only reason I didnt get dark side mastery is because I didnt kill Juhany.....She probably one of the most usefull with jolee once bastila is gone...

Yup, I only killed her this time because I remember my first run through as Light Side - by the time she'd got to the bad guys, my PC had already diced em
So I'm going with Carth, who I've been shaping as a two-weapon critical striker since the beginning, there are too many good swords and armors in the game to let them go to waste. It's still really annoying to me though that you can't get a Dark Juhani, it just seems like the perfect solution to the problem that there isn't another Dark Jedi NPC. Grrr...

along these lines, is it not possible to alter the alignment of anyone in your party? Like if they partook in your evil actions, or spent enough time around a dark side master, or something else, wouldn't they start to slip or something? I don't want more dark side characters, I want characters to be flexible...

No, NPC alignments don't change at all. There is one notable exception, but that's a big spoiler.

It would have been cool to have another dark jedi npc. Juhani would have been nice as a dark jedi. I noticed that when you do get her she comes with one dark power, slow which I usually go ahead and upgrade to plague. Another cool dark jedi npc option would be if you could kill Uthar on Korriban and convince Yuthara Ban to come with you if you were playing dark side.

well, it IS possible to change NPC alignments, but only by cheating
of course, I figure once I've beaten the game I've earned the right to cheat
