Okay, there's one very mild item that I created with the toolset earlier that was for my character. It was, essentially, a cloak of position, showing that he was recognized by a certain group for noble acts.

Howver, at the start of HotU, my stuff is stolen.. is there any way for me to just import the cloak back into the game after I start playing?

I don't think so.

It is possible to spawn stuff into the game, but that would be cheating

But there is a command in the console called dm_spawnitem that takes the tag for the item. I don't know if this will help you.
