Has anyone had the computer lock up when you first try to start up the game? or has your game taken so long to boot that you thought the computer was locked? this has happened to me a few times, and i would like to know if it has happened to anyone else. my computer far exceeds the sys req. for this game so i don't think its that.

It's a common problem, but there's many things you can do that may correct the problem. I had it myself.

Go to the atari product support page and look for ToEE. It will have a description of many possible problems and possible solutions for each of the problems. Hopefully one of them will work for you.
