I'm at brynlaw... and still trying to get my way to the asylum... i just killed lady galvena (at lady galvena's festhall), and was brought to capt golin by claire... after having conversation of how to get into the asylum, i went back to lady galvena's festhall and talk the ellie (galvena's chef)... she will tell her gratitude and gives every person in your party 2250 quest experience... you can keep on initiate dialog to her and she will keep telling her gratitude and giving free infinite experience to your party... nice eh???

Wow...is this after the patch?

i know of this one it stops working when you install ToB
so it's probably removed with the patch but I'm not entierly sure

well, i have got baldur's gate II the collection edition... and i'm pretty sure it comes with the patch as well... Thus i think it still works after the patch...
i have not installed TOB yet... perhaps i should try this after i install TOB...
one thing though, the experience for each character is still capped at 2950000 something...

This exploit works even after the patch.

Yep, this is an old one. There is even a Baldurdash fix for it in both SoA and ToB:

Ellie The Festhall Cook XP Exploit Fix prevents the oversight of being able to talk repeatedly to Ellie after the "potion" plot has begun for the quest experience. As her role in it is finished, she now leaves.
