where are 9th lvl spells

i am going back through the game on HOF but my poor wizard has no 8th or 9th level spells. anyone know where they are?? it's no good to be a 25th level wizard who can cast nothing higher than 7th level spells.

actually, she has an intelligence of 23.

...or is she a sorcerer ?
...and do you have choosen level 8/9 spells when levelling up ?

she is a wizrd and has to learn any new spells. i cannot learn any 8/9 lvl spells until i find some to learn. i used a sorcerer the last time through and am not as fond of them except for the fact that you automatically learn new spells rather than have to find them to learn them.

... you should be able to learn at least some spells when levelling up !?
if your problem is that you don't find any level 8/9 scrolls - I'm sorry that I can't help you (cause I'm just starting to play IWD2)

8th 9th spells
Just a note, I take it you can not find any spells??
If I remember when I finished the game I had like 2 or so 9th level spells. I think in heart of fury there is a place or two that sells 8th and 9th spell scrolls, where off hand I don't know.
But, another option that I think I untilized was to use the Dale Keeper2. Its a game editor. You can add any spell to your saved charactor, (amoung other things). You may want to check it out. Search this forum and you will find a link. Get latest version though. Hope this helps.
