Aerie turned into a vampire? (spoiler)
I really need help here. When I got to the graveyard district in chapter 6. Aerie was captured by Bodhi and turned into a vampire. The journal said that maybe one of the elven war mages might know something. So I went to the mage and he said that maybe the temple of oghma could help me. So I went to the temple of oghma in the docks district, but nothing happened. Everything was just normal and the "help me my girlfriend is a vampire" option never showed up when I talked to the priest?!
How do I cure Aerie?!

Did you pick up the tome in Bodhi's lair that tells you how to reverse vampirism?

@Squee, hi. Welcome to GB's BG2/SoA forum. I hope we'll be able to help you with any questions you have.
I've made a change to your thread title. The original gave away a major plot point in the game, and never mentioned spoilers. I've altered the title to conceal the plot element (though anybody who's played through once should get it), and I've added the term SPOILER to the title, as well. If you'll read the site owner's sticky thread, above, you'll see that he specifically requests people to let other folks know about possible spoilers ahead. It makes sense. BG2 has one of the biggest audiences of any RPG, and it's still growing after all these years. With new players like yourself coming along, we need to take care not to give things away. Unless they're requested.
Once again, hope you enjoy your stay.

Sorry, my bad. But it's my first day here at Gamebanshee so I hope I won't get crusified...

LOL! Being a reallife Wiccan/Gardnerian witch for the last 26 years, I'm hardly going to crucify you.

(Hope that knowledge doesn't offend anybody. I'm not proselytizing; just mentioning it because the juxtaposition with crucifixtion seemed amusing. Well, to me, at any rate.

) Be sure to check out the GB resources on monsters, walkthroughs, etc. And you'll find an astonishing amount of technical and cheese know-how in these forums, too. Feel free to ask.

hehe, funny that. Well not really that I need the help but thanks anyway. I have played Baldurs Gate (and all Forgotten Realms games) for several years. It's just that I'm lazy and never finish the games...

You might want to check out our sticky thread on mods, then. There are plenty of 'em that extend the game, offering a raft of new quests and party NPCs.

More on this...
Blessed be!
More detailed spoiler, highlight to read.
You need to take the corpse of your slain vampiric love along with Bodhi's balck heart, to the ruined temple of Amauntor, and place them in the idol of Amauntor. The little contretemps will NOT disrupt the romance.

Actually I thought it was going to be about a bug causing Aerie to romance a female character. I guess the word "lifestyle" is one of those unfortunate casualties of modern euphemism.

Personaly i thought it'd be something like changing her alignment to evil or something. That'd be cool ^^

Just a bad, quick attempt at wit on my part, more likely.

I'll try again.
