Something's messed up

Okay, here's the deal.... i've been playing Lionheart for the last week or so, and i'm pretty far in the game. To be exact, i'm in the Ether plane, the final part of the Warzone chapter. Now, i usually use the quicksave option very frequently, in all my games. You never know if your PC decides to call it a day or something else that shouldn't happen. So i did this time, while playing Lionheart. Except right after using the quicksave, the game crashed to my desktop, and i couldn't reload the game from the same slot. It would simply crash to the desktop again, and again, and again.

Luckily i had an autosave, in a different slot, so i loaded that one. I was back in business..... until i used quicksave again after 5 minutes or so. Same thing, the game would immediately crash when i loaded it from that particular slot. So now i have two corrupted saveslots. The bad part is that those are my ONLY saveslots, i can't load another one. The only option i have left, is restart, and i refuse to even think about that already.

What the hell went wrong ? Is this a known bug for Lionheart ? Am i screwed now ?

Hm... for a moment i thought i was saved. The version 1.1 patch seems to fix the crashes that occur when you try to safe when travelling with a companion. And i can now load the slots again, but now i get a message that the savegame couldn't be read, and that loading was therefore not possible.

Anyone familiar with this ?

Yeah, that sort of thing happened to me a couple times, and so I stopped using companions. It's not like they're very powerful anyway.

But does that mean that i still won't be able to continue my game ?

If the game won't load a save, then the save is toast. I don't think there's any way to fix it.

Hopefully you have another save you can fall back on.
