I just spent an obscene amount of time leveling up a party consisting of a monk and a druid (among others). I did this so that I could finally create an Amulet of Mighty Fists. I love playing monks, and this is the ultimate item for them. In 3.5 edition rules, this amulet adds a bonus to hit and to damage for any natural attacks. ToEE states that it does the same here, but the game is not adding any bonus to damage.
In other words, I crafted an Amulet of Mighty Fists +5. In combat, I am getting the additional +5 to hit, but I am getting no bonus to the damage that I do; I verified this through the roll history window.
I also thought I would bring this up because it cost me 75,000 gold and 6,000 experience to craft this item that doesn't even work correctly. It is a little frustrating, so if you're thinking about playing a monk and/or crafting one of these, you might want to reconsider.
