The Restoration spell wil do it.
If you dont have it, then a temple willl do it for you (about 750-950 gp)

There are certain items/classes that protect you from level drain.
I believe protection from undead / negativeplane protection also protects you from it.

You can remove it with (lesser)restoration (clericspell)
A restoration scroll (sold in alot of differnt places)
Or in a temple

Level drain

As mentioned, (lesser)restoration will restore lost levels, and negative planes protection (from spells or items) will prevent it. Undead Hunters are immune to level drain (handy, that ;) )

ProUndead would prevent a vampire from being able to attack the character at all, and so would prevent against level drain. I hate being level drained....

There is at least one amulet that will prevent that. Only usable by mages or mage subclasses, though.

Better run away from vampires!!!

No, if you speak about the Amulet of Power, it is usable by any class that can cast divine or arcane spells, this includes bards, clerics, druids, rangers and paladins.

However, you do need the Baldurdash fix for Rangers and Paladins to be able to use it. Bioware incorrectly disabled these classes from using the Amulet.

Incidentally, if you don't get the Baldurdash fix, I believe Monks and Barbarians can use it. Haven't tried this, though.

More..

Actually, there's Six all/all negative planes protection amulets that you can get if you have tactics installed, from Pontifex, everyone's favorite [DELETED]..errr...spaniard ;) Unfortunately, the amulet is slightly cursed....

A couple weapons grant that protection too

there are a lot of protective weapons with some of the mods, such as freedoms reign. Some of the weapons are very cool, even though unbalanced.

(MAYBE VERY SLIGHT SPOILER)

The amulet you get from pontifex. Is the curse on that to do with berserker state? i only ever equipped one on imoen, but i didnt know if her going berserk was part of the plot anyway.

That remarkable quest-mod left a lot of unanswered questions for me. Is a good and complete outcome even possible? I sure disrupted the ritual, but was told later that she died anyway. Felt like i failed but got the xp and the (unbalanced?) reward.

At least tone down the regen on the lilth amulet, jees :)
amazing mod tho, all round.

Lesser Restoration didn't work either

I have three charaters that got level drained. I did lesser restoration and got rid of the drain symbol but still don't have my spells back. I did a Greater Restoration, same deal. Went to the Temple and no services were offered to fix this either. What gives? :(

You just have to select your spells again (in your spellbook) so that they fill up the empty slots, and then rest, pretty straightforward ;)
