The ring that is meant to be in the south of the Friendly Arm is definitely not there in my game. I searched down to the exact point at where it is stated to be and it is not there. Why?

Are you saying you found the hole in the ground, but nothing is there? You may be cursed with one of those game versions that omits it.

I can see a hole in the ground, but there isnt anything there. I used the 'L' key to get exactly the right place and nothing

If you patch the game you wont find the ring under the tree
