A Couple Questions

1.) Is there any other henchmen besides Tomi who can disarm traps? Or am I just stuck with using him?

2.) Do the power attack feats work with bows? If so, is the requirement still based on strength?

3.) At what levels do characters recieve another attack per round? Does it differ between classes?

@1)
No - Tomi is the only henchmen that can disarm traps.

@2) I doubt it, but I haven't tried it. I think it is meele only.

@3) This can be seen in the table on page 157 in the NwN manual.

Thanks very much for the info. I guess that brings up a couple more questions I have about attacks per round. Am I correct in assuming that no matter what ones level, equipping an offhand weapon gives one more attack per round; unless the character has the Improved Two-Weapon Fighting feat, which would grant two off-hand attacks per round. So a level 16 fighter duel-wielding would have six attacks per round if he had the Improved Two-Weapons Fighting feat? I guess my final question is: how exactly does haste affect this? Does it give an additional main-hand attack? Or what? Thanks.

correct on all accounts.

haste grants movement speed bonus, meaning that u move faster, and one extra attack on the main hand.

also, regarding traps and hencmen: u might want to see if Sharwyn can disarm traps. she's a bard and have the skills to do so. she will not be as good as Tomi will be in any case, but she makes up for spells and less of a tendancy to charge into battle inviting trouble.

try the power attack.. its an interesting thought. let me know. :D

Ok, I tried it out, and Power Attack does not work with bows. I assume it doesn't work with other ranged weapons as well, although I didn't check.

thx. if it doesn't work with bows, i doubt it'll work with other ranged weapons as well. it might work with thrown weapons, bit xbows are out as well.

interesting thought. thx not the info! :D

Some more questions involving attacks per round and multiclassing:

I understand the Base Attacks table, but I'm wondering how the number of attacks per round is handled with a multi-classed character. Is it cumulative in terms of the character level? Like a fighter/barbarian (?) would receive his third attack per round when his character level reached 11? This option makes the most sense to me, but what if the two (or three) classes have different Base Attack progressions? Also, which Base Attack tables do the respective prestige classes use?

AFAIK the BAB determines the number of attacks instead of the level; at the point where the LOWEST Att Bonus goes to +6 another attack gets added at +1.
BTW - all attacks increase at the same rate once gained.

Ok, it all makes sense now. Thanks!

as to which BAB progression table a prestige class uses, u can make a very good guess by refering to the base classes. there are only 3 BAB progression tables:

#1 "Warrior" progression where u gain 1 BAB per level of the class
#2 "Spellcaster" progression where u gain 1 BAB every 2 levels of the class
#3 "In-between" progression where u gain 1 BAB per level of the class except the 1st level and every 4 levels from there, (5th, 9th..etc) where u gain no BAB.

a samle of the list of BAB for prestige classes in NWN:
Shadow Dancer >> In-between
Assasin >> In-between
Red Dragon Disciple >> In-between
Arcane Archer >> Warrior
Pale Master >> Spellcaster

i hope this helps to make a pretty good guess for the rest.

BAB is cummulative.
If you look at the table on page 157 you will see a fighter at level 3 has +3, and a rogue at level 3 has +2.
If you then have a 3 fighter/3 rogue you have a BAB of 5.
