can you download new mods, to morrowind. Like new armor or weapons, and races (and more) cuz I have tried, but I can't install it, (something wrong). And I wonder can those mods in anyway harm the game?
And if you want to insall new things to make the game more fun, and just MORE, do you know any good web pages, where you can download (new things)
just wonder
ps: have YOU ever add new mods?

Make sure you extract the files to the correct folder. Also after you extract them do they show up under the Data files button on the main menu? And yes I am working on my very first mod to create a new telvanni tower style home that you get when you become a mouth for Aryon.

=directory. You have to put the files in the 'data files' directory.

He means the right folders in the morrowind data files directory.
What is easiest to do is run winzip using the wizard and just moving the files in each folder to its corresponding one in the morrowind\data files folder. just make sure that each file is in its right place. if a file isnt where its supposed to be, then if you do something that requires that file in the game, it will usually cut out on you. Using the winzip wizard is the easiest i think.
Man, i really freakin want to make a mod for it besides just adding or changing buildings with the construction program, but i dont have 3D max.. it sucks

oh, and some mods will affect your saves, so be careful which ones you install if you think you might not want one anymore.
a good site for mods is; morrowind.unforgottenrealms.net
