Trademeet "problem" Help needed.

Post by #Apocalypse# »

Hya. I was just about going to Aran Linvail to go get Imoen back, but suddenly I discovered something weird. I should be able to buy some real cool items at some local Trademeet merchants such as Belt of inertal barrier and Cloack of Displacement, but I can't find those items anywhere. Can somebody plz tell me where I can buy those cool items? Maybe I just missed a quest or something...

If you have to low charisma the merchans will not talk to you (use ring of human influence) otherwise they are on a long line just within the citygates.

Did you finish the Trademeet quests? You have to get rid of the Djinni and the druids before you can buy anything. After that the belt of Inertial Barrier will be at the merchant stall by the gates

Yes, I killed those Djinni's and I got rid of those stupid druids who caused the animal trouble. I also reported that back to the mayor ( how do I write that Image ), so now I have a statue on the fountain, but I still can't find those cool items.

All the merchants should be standing in a strip on the lower part of the city, but they are only there during the daytime.

When you look at the map, there is a location marker (bottom center of map) that says something like 'Trademeat Market'. The guy is located at the top tip of the marker and is labeled 'Merchant'.

Do you have to talk to the Guildmistress Busya(sp?) as well? (in the mayor's house)

It's not a necessity, but I believe she gives you something for your help with the problems there...I can't remember, but I think she gives you some gems.

Also, don't forget to visit the guy near the top of the main square who is a smith of some sort - I think he has something nifty for you to buy.

After finishing Druid Grove, I had about 60,000gp saved up and I went shopping big time in Trademeet - except I forgot to save the 22,000 needed to buy the Balduran's Plate back at the Adventurer's Mart. Grrr!

Did you return the head to the Djinni's in Trademeet? If they are still there you cannot get anything from the merchants.
