So here's what I've got: PIII 750 320MB RAM, plenty of hard drive space, 8MB ATI Rage Mobility - P vdeo card, and i'm running windows 2000 pro.... Will it run smoothly? I tried it when the game forst came out and it ran but way too sketchy to be even bearable. A few weeks ago i upped the ram from 128 to it's present 320 and i was wondering if that would make a tremendous difference. If it will that means I gotta get my game back from the friend i lent it to since it wouldn't run on my comp. Thanks all.

I would say that it depends heavily on the settings you will use.

I would think you could run it somewhat smoothly most of the time, unless you place every graphics setting to its fullest.

I'm not nearly as concerned with graphics as I am with gameplay, so I guess it's time to find out if he still has it.

If you compare this game with some of the older classics like diablo2 lod then the graphics in this game is a high point. You could get a new video card, spending that much money (if you hav all the expansions) on a game and giving it away if it is this good is not worth it, a new card that can handle this graphics is not that expensive. If the game lags allot then your ram would help, even though I think the recomended is 512, but that'll make a difrence. Your cpu speed is a litle more exppensive, so I think stick with what you have got, it will most probably work well enough. If you wan't more ram, with all that disk space, you could let the computer use a portion of your hard disk as ram, not sure about win 2000 but xp pro can do that. So the point of my story :) is that you hould get a better video card, a g-force fx 5200 will work just fine. I hope this will answer your question. P.S please don't mind the spelling, I'm not really english.
