how can you add a priest spell to the priest spell book. I mean at the known part of the book. A mage can write a scroll in his mage book, how does this work with a priest.

Welcome to the board.

A priest cant scribe scrolls, you have to do it with the spells you get. (that are very nice)

Clerics and Druids automatically get new spells when they level up.

It is also a function of wisdom. Higher wisdom means more spells known.

Are you 100% sure ? I always thought higher wisdom just allows you to memorize more spells.

Correct, you can cast more spells a day.
You DONT gain a wider spellselection

The only way the memorized spell list changes for clerics an druids if based on your alignment. Good vs Evil get a few different spells, most of which overlap, but some are specific to alignment. For example, summon deva vs summon fallen deva, depend on alignment. There are a few per level, but I've never played an evil cleric, so I don't remember the exact spell names.
