Morag Tong sidequest

One of the guys in the Morag Tong says he had a vision from a daedric god that he should kill a member in Balmora. He handed me poison to slip in his cauldron but apparently I lost it. I've looked at every merchant I've shopped at and can't find it so I'm guessing I drank or dropped it. I'm guessing no one sells a poison potion I could use and I can't make one right? I'm using xbox so no hacking it into my inventory.
