a guy came up to me tellling carth bout dustil. he said that dustil was a sith on korrbin. i have played the level before but i have never found dustil. can sum1 help.

First, welcome the the board.

Dustil can be found inside the sith acadamy, i dont know if your able to reenter the acadamy after you found the starmap. But i think Dustil will only be there once you have triggered the quest.

I recommand going back to Koriban and see if you can enter the academy, with Carth in your team.

and how do i trigger the quest...carth keeps saying all he wants to do is find dustil .

and any ideas roughly where he would be

Some other NPC's have quests to. Talk to everyone alot, and usually the quest triggers when you take them out of the ebon hawk on a different planet then the planet the quest is on.
Every quest van be triggered on Dantooine!

PS. Dont read the NPC-quest thread I created a while ago, it contains a MAJOR spoiler about the game. Only read that thread once you finshed the game.

If you've already done the quest, people on korriban will mention "some trouble" at the academy, and the gates will be locked. That's why you need to get dustil done and get everything you want to out of the tombs before leaving.

He'll only be there if you've been told about him, and he'll be in the sith students bedrooms.

In other words, if you had already obtained the Star Map from Korriban, before triggering the quest (meeting the guy you mention), there's nothing you can do about it and won't complete the quest.
