Asylum

Okay, how should I go into the Asylum? You can either be sent there by the Pirate Lord or use the orb of Pethe. If you are sent there you begin in Asylum 1 and talk to the dwarf guy (I had to reload after that). If you walk there you get to go outside the Asylum then meet Irenicus disguised as a monk who introduces you to the inmates who give you items. I've done it this way, but because of that couldn't properly search Asylum 1 and 2 and was sent to the dungeons strait away. Plus is he ment to take my essense so I metamorph into a demon all the time?

Either way will work...you still get to search the levels later. I would walk there.

You return to the Asylum after completing a number of quests in the dungeon. There is some loot, but nothing very special.

Yes - part of the plot
Just don't sleep again after meeting bohdi in the dungeon and until you exit the asylum.

Thanks again Brink, Rasputin and Xandax. One last, tiny question
I've defeated Irenicus in the Asylum but now have to go to either the Underdark or to Saelom for deoparture. I know Saelom is the only way to Sudenetal (the underwater city) but the other way is to the Underdark. Can I do both. Which ever way I go I can't go back-wards. So which should it be? Underdark or Suden.....thing?

Take the offer from Saemon Havarian, and go to the Sahuagin City. You can go to the Underdark from there.
You cannot do the other way around.
